Laser Vein Treatment

Spider veins and other vascular lesions occur due to excessive blood accumulation in the affected leg veins. Consequently, the leg veins dilate and appear on the skin’s surface. The EVO Light devices target the vascular lesions with powerful pulsed laser energies that collapse the abnormal leg veins without affecting the surrounding skin tissues. The blood diverts to other, healthier veins. Once the laser has damaged the vein, it gets broken down and reabsorbed into the body by surrounding tissue. Thus, it is no longer visible. After one or two weeks, the vein will disappear as if it was never there. Multiple sessions may be needed for optimal results.

What do I need to know before my treatment?

Once a vein has closed it initially resembles a bruise. It takes a few weeks for the closed vein to completely resolve and be no longer be visible on your skin. To maximize results, avoid direct sun for two weeks prior to treatment, & avoid strenuous exercise for 7-10 days. Typically, 2-3 treatments are recommended for optimal results.
